Lego Birthday Cakes

Aren't these just the cutest cakes? My daughter made these for my grandson's birthday this weekend. He's quite the Lego master. The outside shell is made using Wilton Melts in a mold; then, a cake is cut to fit, iced and the shell is placed over it.

The boys at the party wanted to know if they got to keep the actual Lego mini figs; but he gave a definite, "No." They did get to eat the hard candy shell after eating the cake. Sugar highs all around.

Oh, and he's pretty cute too!
